After six years away from the stage, Hip-Hop Karaoke (HHK) is stepping back into the spotlight at its longtime home, Revival Event Venue on College Street. First launched in the mid-2000s, HHK transformed karaoke night from cheesy pop ballads into a raucous, sweat-soaked celebration of golden-era rap, underground anthems, and modern bangers.

Stepping Up to the Mic

The premise remains simple and electrifying: the DJs supply the original instrumental beats, and brave partygoers take the stage to deliver the bars. There are no vocal backing tracks to hide behind—just you, a microphone, and a room full of rap aficionados hyping up every verse. The legendary hosting and DJ collective is back in full force, including longtime host More Or Les alongside DJ Dalia, Ted Dancin', and DJ Numeric holding down the decks all night.

Revival in Little Italy

Revival has stood at the corner of College and Shaw for decades, serving as a historic hub for Toronto hip-hop culture, dance nights, and community celebrations. The multi-level space offers plenty of dance floor room to bounce, alongside a mezzanine vantage point to watch the performances unfold. Little Italy's bar strip means plenty of great options for pre-show fuel, whether grabbing a slice at Bitondo's Pizzeria or drinks at Birreria Volo down the block.

Doors open late on Friday night into the early morning hours of Saturday. Whether you plan to sign up and rhyme your favourite 90s verses or simply come to dance and shout along to classic hip-hop, expect a packed, celebratory crowd welcoming back an iconic city party. Streetcars on the 506 Carlton route run all night along College Street.
