Arts in the Parks: Ghanafest

Earl Bales Park in North York comes alive with the vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of West Africa for the 14th Annual Ghanafest. Organized to showcase the rich cultural tapestry of Black Canadian and Ghanaian heritage, the festival brings together multicultural communities from across the GTA.

What to Expect Visitors can look forward to authentic traditional Ghanaian cuisine, language lessons, interactive games, and extensive art exhibits highlighting local and international Black artists. Taking place rain or shine in the Earl Bales picnic areas, it's a stellar community celebration that honors cultural traditions through music, dance, and food.
