Contemporary Dance Meets the Jazz Age

Directed and choreographed by award-winning director Janet Roston, *Gatsby Redux* reimagines 1920s high society through a high-energy fusion of contemporary dance, theatrical staging, and modern musical mashups. The ensemble cast—dressed in elaborate period flapper gowns, sharp suits, and art deco attire—moves across outdoor pathways and courtyards, performing to a soundtrack that transitions seamlessly from authentic 1920s jazz standards to pulse-pounding electro swing.
