Barns Eco Market - Fall 2026

Saturday, September 12, 2026
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Wychwood Barns
Artscape Wychwood Barns welcomes the return of the Barns Eco Market, a curated showcase celebrating independent artisans whose work is rooted in environmental sustainability, upcycling, and mindful production. Taking over the expansive, sunlit covered streetscape of Barn 2, the market gathers more than 25 vendors offering a conscious alternative to mass-produced goods just as autumn gets underway.
Sustainable Goods and Vintage Finds
Shoppers will find a diverse collection of sustainably made items, ranging from natural, zero-waste organic skincare products and recycled paper stationery to handcrafted jewellery and repurposed vintage electronics. The vendors span emerging makers and established crafters from across the GTA, each committed to ethical sourcing, low-impact packaging, and creative reuse. It is an ideal spot to discover unique gifts, home accents, and everyday goods that keep environmental care front and centre.
Double Down with The Stop's Farmers Market
If you arrive in the morning, you can make it a two-for-one trip: The Stop’s year-round Farmers Market runs in the Christie Courtyard and adjoining Barn 1 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pick up heirloom produce, fresh-baked sourdough, artisanal cheeses, and hot prepared breakfasts from Ontario farmers and producers before diving into the Eco Market inside.
Visiting Wychwood Barns
Located in the heart of the Hillcrest and Bracondale Hill neighbourhood, Wychwood Barns was once a streetcar maintenance facility before being transformed into a vibrant community arts centre and public park. Admission to the Barns Eco Market is completely free. The venue is fully accessible and easily reached via the 126 Christie bus from Christie Station or the 512 St. Clair streetcar (exit at Christie Street and walk two blocks south).
