AlohaFest Toronto — 10th Anniversary

AlohaFest Toronto celebrated its 10th edition with a full day of Polynesian culture at Mel Lastman Square. Presented by Hālau Hula I Ka Lā, the free North York festival brought together hula hālau, Tahitian dancers, musicians, food vendors and makers from across the region.
What Was Scheduled
The main stage ran from 11 a.m. into the evening with 20 dance and music acts. Alongside the performances, the Aloha Marketplace featured island-inspired food and handmade goods, while family programming included children’s activities and a free ukulele workshop.

The event took place Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Mel Lastman Square. Admission was free, the festival ran rain or shine, and the square was accessible directly from North York Centre station.
