Loop
A compact but stunning provincial park where the Credit River carves through the Niagara Escarpment, creating dramatic waterfalls, limestone gorges, and old-growth forest. The 5-kilometre trail network includes a riverside walk to a 22-metre waterfall and panoramic views from the escarpment edge — all just 50 minutes from downtown Toronto.
Very Toronto Tips
This is the fall colours spot that locals try to keep secret. The drive up Forks of the Credit Road is itself spectacular, but the Cascade Falls viewpoint in mid-October is the real payoff. Go on a Tuesday morning if you can — weekends in October are a zoo.

Getting There
Transit
No direct transit. Drive north on Highway 10 from Brampton, then west on Forks of the Credit Road. About 50 minutes from downtown Toronto.
Parking
Provincial park parking lot ($14.50/vehicle daily, or Ontario Parks pass). Limited spots — arrive early, especially on fall weekends.
Seasonal Notes
Best: FallOne of the premier fall colour destinations near Toronto — peak mid-October. The park is open year-round but the access road can be treacherous in winter. Spring brings rushing waterfalls from snowmelt.
