Toronto Waldorf School

Founded in 1968, the Toronto Waldorf School is the largest Waldorf school in Canada, serving approximately 400 students from preschool through Grade 12 in Thornhill. The school follows the Steiner education philosophy — emphasising imagination, nature, handwork, and holistic child development over standardized testing.

The curriculum integrates academics with arts, movement, and practical skills at every stage. There are no screens in the early years, and students develop through storytelling, music, and nature immersion before transitioning to rigorous academic work in the upper school. Annual tuition is approximately $20,000–$25,000.
