Founded in 1961 as Toronto Montessori Schools, Lauremont School is built on a distinctive dual pedagogy: a Montessori start and an IB finish. The Richmond Hill campus serves students from 18 months through Grade 12.
The Lower School (toddler through Grade 6) follows Montessori methods — Children's House (ages 3–6) and a full elementary programme. The Upper School transitions into the IB Middle Years Programme (Grades 7–10) and IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12), with the Duke of Edinburgh Award available.
The school organises learning around four pillars: Academics, Athletics, Arts, and Citizenship. Extended care, dining, guidance, and a full co-curricular programme are offered across both divisions.
