Founded in 1999, the Lycée Français de Toronto (LFT) is the only school in Toronto accredited by the French Ministry of Education from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school serves 520 students from over 30 nationalities across 380 families, with a student body that is 57% Canadian, 30% French, and 13% dual or other nationalities.
LFT follows the French national curriculum and prepares students for the French Baccalauréat, with an International Section and Bilingual French-International (BFI) track available. Students graduate fluent in three languages. The school is accredited by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) and offers language certifications, university counselling, athletics, and a full extracurricular programme.
