Founded in 1894, Havergal College is one of Canada's leading independent schools for girls, set on a 22-acre campus in Lawrence Park. The school serves 1,000 students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, with boarding available for Grades 9–12.
Havergal's curriculum emphasises confidence, resilience, and global-mindedness. The HC-X programme blends traditional academics with digital literacy and design thinking. Students can pursue the Global Learning & Leading Diploma and the Forum for Change — a social innovation programme that sends students on global experiences.
The school is a Round Square member, UNESCO Associate School, and Duke of Edinburgh provider, alongside CAIS, CIS Ontario, NAIS, and the International Coalition of Girls' Schools. The 9,500+ alumni network spans the globe.
Day tuition for 2026–27 is $45,670 (JK–Grade 12). Boarding runs $83,485 (Canadian) or $87,485 (international). Havergal awards $2.1 million annually in financial support and merit scholarships, including the HC Community Builder ($25,000), Legacy Boarding Scholarship, and House Scholarships.
