XXX is the 20-seat Dutch speakeasy under Little Sister at 102 Portland. There is no useful street sign; the tell is a red XXX neon a few steps down from the restaurant door. Official entry on littlesisterto.com: it is a Dutch speakeasy, small and personal, Wednesday–Saturday 6 till late. Canada’s 50 Best ranked it eighth nationally for 2026. The classic door trick is to ask a Little Sister server for a playing card and hand it to the person on the stairs — that is still the folklore, and the restaurant is how you find the hole. Inside is 1970s Nederland, outlier ingredients (yes, there has been a cocktail with ants), and, since late 2023, barman H on whisky and bespoke builds. Ask for the whisky espresso martini if he is in. Satay lilit if you are hungry. No reservation grid for walk-in nights; private buyouts go through Little Sister. It is a hideaway, not a club.
