Woofdawg Hot Dog

What is Woofdawg Hot Dog? Anchored on Baldwin Street in Kensington Market, Woofdawg Hot Dog grew out of the local Kungfu Dawg cart into an unapologetic street food operation sharing shop space with Frank Ranalli's. The compact, high-energy room prioritizes scratch-made sausages crafted with natural casings, rejecting the usual pre-packaged street-meat shortcuts. Seating is essentially non-existent inside the eclectic space, cementing this as a grab-and-go counter built for eating curbside or walking the market.

Woofdawg Hot Dog Menu & What to Order The kitchen stuffs its own snappy links—available in pork and beef, all-beef, chicken, or veggie builds—before burying them beneath bold, irreverent toppings. The standout order is the Chili Cheese Crunch-Ah, smothered in rich chili, spicy mayo, and a crunchy crown of crushed Hawkins Cheezies. The Loaded Dawg delivers balanced acidity with fennel slaw, corn relish, and pickled jalapeños, while the hand-dipped Crank Dup Corndawwg and Cheesy Dill Pickle Fries round out the carb-heavy indulgence alongside classic sodas.

Know Before You Go Service is strictly walk-in with zero reservations, meaning lines can spill onto Baldwin during sunny weekend afternoons. Woofdawg runs Wednesday through Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., taking Mondays and Tuesdays off. Parking in Kensington is notoriously tight, so take the 510 Spadina or 506 Carlton streetcar and wander over on foot.
