Ugly Delicious

What is Ugly Delicious? Perched along Baldwin Street in Kensington Market (199 Baldwin St), Ugly Delicious is a counter-service burger joint slinging messy, crispy-edged handhelds. The compact space keeps things straightforward with a plywood interior, a handful of window bar stools, and outdoor patio seating ideal for neighbourhood people-watching. It is built entirely around screaming-hot flat tops, sizzling beef, and fast-moving paper-wrapped orders.

Ugly Delicious Menu & What to Order The kitchen grinds a 100% hand-slaughtered halal blend of Australian Wagyu and AAA beef daily for its lace-crusted patties. Order the Onions We Crazy to get thin onions smashed directly into the beef under American cheese and tangy house Ugly Sauce, or pick the Jalapeños Gone Wild for noticeable heat. The Chopped Cheese hoagie is a standout heavyweight, and the loaded Ugly Fries—smothered in smashed beef, caramelized onions, and cheese—are worth adding. Vegans can sub in the Earth Burger built with an Impossible patty and dairy-free cheese.

Know Before You Go Indoor seating is limited to a few stools, so expect a quick grab-and-go experience or eat on the patio when weather permits. No reservations are taken, and lines build steadily during weekend afternoons when Kensington foot traffic peaks. Take the 510 Spadina or 506 Carlton streetcar to avoid the market's tight one-way streets and scarce parking.
