The Dog Bowl is Toronto’s most social unfenced off-leash: a natural sunken bowl in Trinity Bellwoods Park that does most of the containing for you. GIS places the OLA in the south-central park (unlit). It is not a fenced corral — the crater shape and the regulars do the work — so it is a terrible choice for a dog that bolts toward Queen Street and a great choice if you want to meet the west-end dog community. Queen West is a two-minute walk for a coffee after. Busy at off-leash rush hours; quieter mid-morning on weekdays. The City still expects you to keep your dog in sight.
