Tonton Matcha + Coffee

What is Tonton Matcha + Coffee? Set along a lively stretch of Bloor Street West just steps from Ossington Station, Tonton Matcha + Coffee brings its dedicated Japanese tea bar concept from Liberty Village into Bloorcourt. The bright, minimalist space pairs clean wood counters and warm lighting with streamlined counter service and casual window stool seating. It functions primarily as a fast-paced neighbourhood pit stop for serious green tea enthusiasts and discerning coffee drinkers on the move.

Tonton Matcha + Coffee Menu & What to Order The drinks lineup revolves around ceremonial-grade Japanese green teas whisked to order and blended into creative signature drinks. Standouts include the velvety Matcha Coconut Pandan, the layered Matcha Strawberry Latte, and the silky Matcha Coconut Cloud. Beyond tea, the counter serves espresso classics, sparkling matcha tonics, and rotating pastries from local bakeries, with dairy-free oat and coconut milk substitutions standard for plant-based drinkers.

Know Before You Go Tonton operates entirely on a walk-in basis with no reservations, so anticipate short line-ups during peak mid-afternoon hours on weekends. Transit is effortless with the shop located between Ossington and Dufferin subway stations on Line 2, while street parking along Bloor can be scarce during rush hours. Operating hours kick off at 9:00 a.m. daily, running until 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and 5:00 p.m. on weekends.
