Tofu Superior

What is Tofu Superior? Situated along the industrial fringe at 175 Weston Road near The Junction, Tofu Superior operates as a dedicated retail counter specializing in fresh soy products rather than a conventional sit-down eatery. The utilitarian setup eschews dining room tables, bars, and patio seating entirely, focusing strictly on direct counter pickup for local shoppers and home cooks. It functions essentially as a no-nonsense distribution outpost for freshly made tofu, bringing factory-direct staples directly into the neighborhood.

Tofu Superior Menu & What to Order Rather than serving prepared, ready-to-eat dishes, the counter specializes strictly in pristine raw bean curd sold in small and large formats. Each block carries a clean, mild soybean flavor and a naturally tender texture that far outshines standard vacuum-sealed supermarket bricks. The Large Fresh Tofu block is the top pick for home cooks, offering a versatile, nutrient-dense base ready to absorb broths, chili oils, or a hard pan-sear in a weeknight stir-fry.

Know Before You Go Because this is purely a retail counter, reservations do not apply and visits are walk-in only with minimal turnaround time. Specific retail hours are not publicly posted and can fluctuate, making standard weekday daytime visits your safest bet. Street parking can be found along Weston Road, and the shop is easily reached via the 89 Weston bus running north from Keele subway station.
