Toby's Pub & Eatery

What is Toby's Pub & Eatery? Situated along the bustling College Street corridor on the border of Kensington Market and Little Italy, Toby's Pub & Eatery is an unpretentious, classic Toronto neighbourhood tavern. The cavernous, low-lit space features exposed brick, vintage beer signs, pool tables, and an array of flat-screen TVs tuned to game-day action. Inside, guests settle into roomy wood booths, long communal tables, or stools along the sprawling bar.

Toby's Pub & Eatery Menu & What to Order While the kitchen turns out familiar tavern fare like crispy sauced chicken wings, nachos, and loaded burgers, its scratch-made South Asian specialties are the real standout. The rich, aromatic butter chicken paired with warm naan and rice alongside the spicy Sri Lankan curry are runaway customer favourites that rival specialized curry houses. Hearty options like the Mushroom Melt Burger, steak sandwiches, and all-day breakfast skillets deliver dependable comfort food, with vegetarian options readily accommodated. Wash everything down with a pour from the extensive 24-tap draught lineup or a cold pitcher to share.

Know Before You Go Toby's operates strictly on a casual walk-in policy, with the room filling up fast on UFC fight nights, weekend sports broadcasts, and late evenings. Public transit is the best way to get here, with the 506 Carlton streetcar stopping right out front and the 511 Bathurst streetcar just steps away. The pub is open late seven days a week, pouring pints and serving comfort food until 2:00 a.m. nightly.
