What is Tiny Cafe? Tiny Cafe is an intimate Tibetan momo eatery tucked away on Macdonell Avenue just north of Queen Street West in Parkdale's Little Tibet. True to its name, the snug dining room features just a couple of compact tables and an open prep counter where whole trays of handmade dumplings are folded, pinched, and steamed fresh in tiered aluminum steamers.

Tiny Cafe Menu & What to Order The main draw here is the Steamed Beef Momos, filled with juicy seasoned minced beef, scallions, and ginger, bursting with savory broth when bitten. Fried momos offer a golden, crisp-bottomed alternative, while the vegetarian momos deliver spiced spinach, cabbage, and tofu. Pair your dumpling plate with a small dish of house-made roasted chili paste that brings real fire. On chilly days, order a steaming bowl of Bhöthuk, the traditional Tibetan beef noodle soup with hand-pulled dough ribbons, accompanied by savory Tibetan salted butter tea.

Know Before You Go Space inside is exceptionally tight, making takeout very popular among Parkdale locals. You can also purchase bags of frozen momos with dipping chili sauce to prepare at home. Service is warm and personal, and opening hours run seven days a week from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
