The Portuguese Chicken Guys

What is The Portuguese Chicken Guys? Tucked into an industrial pocket on Newbridge Road in Etobicoke City Centre, The Portuguese Chicken Guys is a high-volume takeout and delivery counter dedicated to traditional churrasqueira fare. The setup is strictly utilitarian—built for drivers, catering pickups, and neighbourhood walk-ins—with essentially no indoor seating save for a lone picnic bench outside during warmer months. It cuts straight to the point, delivering smoke-kissed rotisserie staples without the pretense of a formal dining room.

The Portuguese Chicken Guys Menu & What to Order The main draw is the flame-grilled whole chicken, deeply seasoned, charred over open flames, and brushed generously with a vibrant, tongue-pricking piri piri sauce. Pair a quarter or half chicken meal with their dense, roasted Parisienne potatoes and savoury rice, both primed to soak up the spicy drippings. Kick things off with crispy cod fish croquettes and spiced shrimp patties, and never leave without a box of blistered, flaky Portuguese tarts.

Know Before You Go Seating is practically nonexistent, so treat this entirely as a takeout or delivery mission and order ahead online to skip dinner-rush ticket queues. Drivers will find quick surface parking right outside the bay doors, while transit users can catch the 44 Kipling South bus from Kipling subway station. The kitchen opens at noon on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. on weekends, serving continuously through 10:30 p.m. daily.
