Situated on Dundas Street West just steps from Dundas West Station and the Bloor GO/UP Express terminal, The Merseyside is an independent cafe and bakery founded by Liverpool native Todd Jang Delaney. The compact room seats just over twenty guests with warm wood counters, minimalist design, and subtle nods to the Merseyside region, supplemented by a few streetside patio tables in the summer. It operates as a quintessential neighbourhood fixture where High Park and Junction Triangle residents gather for honest morning fuel.

The Merseyside Menu & What to Order Everything here revolves around scratch-baked goods, hearty breakfast staples, and precision-pulled espresso brewed with beans from Toronto's Propeller Coffee Co. The undisputed favourite is the peameal bacon breakfast sandwich, stacked high and griddled fresh to order. Freshly baked scones are another cornerstone—particularly the savoury ham and cheddar scone and the tart lemon berry scone. Wash it down with a well-steamed oat latte or a flat white.
