The Goodman Pub & Kitchen

What is The Goodman Pub & Kitchen? Set along Queens Quay West overlooking Lake Ontario and the Toronto Islands, The Goodman Pub & Kitchen delivers a high-energy waterfront tavern experience anchored by nautical-industrial finishes and warm timber accents. Inside, high-top tables, an expansive bar, and exposed brick offer an easygoing refuge for sports fans and after-work crowds, while the sprawling L-shaped patio with cabana-style seating commands the spotlight all summer.

The Goodman Pub & Kitchen Menu & What to Order The kitchen leans into elevated comfort classics alongside contemporary crowd-pleasers. Start with the crisp Masala Calamari or saucy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites before committing to reliable stalwarts like golden Fish & Chips or the lean, deeply savoury Elk Burger. Those seeking fresh greens can turn to the grain-heavy Zen Bowl, best paired with a cold local craft draft from the rotating taps.

Know Before You Go Patio tables with prime lake views fill up fast on warm afternoons and weekend nights, so booking ahead is strongly advised, though walk-ins can usually snag a stool at the bar inside. Transit is your best bet; simply hop on the 509 or 510 streetcar from Union Station to avoid Queens Quay traffic and steep waterfront parking rates. The doors open daily at 11:30 a.m., running until 11:00 p.m. most nights and extending to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
