Korean Dessert Cafe
(416) 920-0314
What is The Cups? Perched along the bustling stretch of College Street just west of Spadina, The Cups is a lively Korean dessert parlor built for late-night sweet cravings and student catch-ups. The space is bright, minimalist, and compact, featuring casual wooden cafe tables and booth-style perimeter seating tailored for sharing towering bowls of shaved ice.
The Cups Menu & What to Order The main draw here is the ultrafine milk-snow bingsu, led by the traditional Injeolmi Bingsu generously dusted with nutty roasted soybean powder, chewy rice cakes, and sliced almonds. If you want pastry instead, get the freshly pressed Injeolmi Croffle or a hot box of hodu-gwaja (Korean walnut cakes) filled with sweet red bean paste and cold slab butter. Balance the sugar rush with a spicy-savory plate of rose tteokbokki and an iced strawberry matcha latte.
Know Before You Go Seating operates on a strict walk-in, counter-service model, so expect busy surges and wait times during post-dinner hours and weekend afternoons. Take the 510 Spadina or 506 Carlton streetcar right to the College and Spadina intersection, which is much simpler than hunting for scarce street parking. The shop operates daily from noon to 10:00 p.m.
