The Crafty Coyote

What is The Crafty Coyote? Set along the lively Annex stretch of Bloor Street West just east of Bathurst, The Crafty Coyote is an easygoing neighbourhood alehouse built for beer enthusiasts and comfort food lovers alike. Outfitted with rustic salvaged wood, barrel tables, and a prominent rotating draught board, the space features cozy indoor seating, a bustling bar, and a heated patio. It serves as a laid-back gathering spot for University of Toronto students, local residents, and post-movie crowds.

The Crafty Coyote Menu & What to Order The kitchen turns out satisfying scratch-made pub fare designed specifically to match its lineup of over 30 rotating craft taps and local cask ales. The signature Crafty Burger is a standout, stacked with aged cheddar, crispy bacon, a pan-fried egg, and chipotle mayo on a toasted brioche bun. Pair a four-pour craft beer flight with shareable plates like the house pulled pork tacos, dry-rubbed jumbo wings, or the loaded Crafty Nachos.

Know Before You Go Operating daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., the venue operates primarily on a walk-in basis, though larger groups can reserve ahead online. Evenings tend to fill up quickly, especially around weekend prime time and right after film screenings at nearby cinemas. The pub is situated steps from Bathurst subway station, making the TTC by far the simplest way to visit.
