The Bullger

What is The Bullger? Stationed along Ellesmere Road in Wexford/Maryvale, The Bullger is an unapologetically heavy-hitting counter spot dedicated to fresh, 100% halal Canadian beef stacked to sky-scraping heights. The room is stripped-down, spotless, and engineered primarily for high-volume takeout, though a smattering of casual tables sit beneath bold, graffiti-style bull murals for those dining on the spot. It is unpretentious comfort food where house-made sauces and seasoned patties take precedence over dining room frills.

The Bullger Menu & What to Order Excess is the governing philosophy here, best exemplified by the Red Bull Burger, which swaps standard sesame buns for twin toasted grilled cheese sandwiches encasing triple beef patties, beef bacon, and cheddar. For a burger that balances rich grease with acidity and crunch, order the Mighty Bull topped with mozzarella, pico de gallo, and golden onion rings. Steak lovers should zero in on the Longhorns Steak Sandwich—a tender mound of thinly sliced rib eye griddled with mushrooms, onions, and sharp cheddar. Round out the tray with fresh-cut poutine and a thick, hand-spun Oreo or mango milkshake.

Know Before You Go Tables cannot be reserved, so prepare for steady queues and delivery traffic around standard dinner hours and late weekend nights. Free surface parking is available in the surrounding plaza, and the 95 Ellesmere bus stops right outside. The kitchen operates daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., extending service until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
