What is Thai Tavern? Thai Tavern (originally launched as Tha Phae Tavern) is a vibrant Thai street-food gastropub and karaoke lounge situated at 221 Richmond Street West in downtown Toronto's Entertainment District. Co-founded by celebrated Chef Nuit and Jeff Regular (the team behind PAI and SukhoTHAI), it channels the energetic night-market spirit of the historic Tha Phae Gate in Chiang Mai, featuring private Rod Daeng karaoke rooms, neon decor, and late-night drinking snacks.

Thai Tavern Menu & What to Order The menu reimagines iconic Thai street food alongside inventive drinking snacks. Chef Nuit’s Signature Pad Thai and Ayutthaya Boat Noodles with rich spiced broth are essential comfort bowls. The decadent Khao Soi Poutine smothers golden fries in northern coconut curry gravy, tender pulled chicken, cheese curds, and crunchy fried noodle nests. Guests also crave the Pad Krapow Beef Smash Burger layered with holy basil and fried egg, grilled sweet moo ping pork skewers, and spicy green papaya som tum.

Know Before You Go Closed Mondays. Open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Friday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The venue features two private vintage truck-themed karaoke rooms bookable for private parties. Osgoode TTC subway station is two blocks away.
