Tacorrito

What is Tacorrito? Perched along King Street East near Sherbourne, Tacorrito is a streamlined, fast-casual counter built for swift takeout and no-fuss casual dining. The tight street-front space features clean contemporary millwork, warm overhead lighting, and minimalist counter-height stools for solo diners and quick lunch crowds. It serves as a dependable pit stop for King East design district workers and local condo residents in search of freshly made Mexican fare.

Tacorrito Menu & What to Order Tacorrito’s lineup leans into customisable comfort classics, starting with hearty burritos, stuffed quesadillas, and fully loaded burrito bowls. The spicy fish tacos and seasoned ground beef are crowd favourites, dressed with shredded cabbage slaw, fresh pico de gallo, and a kick of chipotle crema. For something indulgent, order the Mexican poutine—crispy fries blanketed in warm queso, black beans, salsa, and garlic mayo—or opt for a spiced vegan patty bowl loaded with house guacamole. Wrap up your meal with an order of warm caramel churros dusted in cinnamon sugar alongside an ice-cold Mexican Jarritos soda.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in with a limited counter footprint, meaning most foot traffic skews toward takeout and delivery during weekday lunch rushes. Drivers will need to hunt for street parking along King or side streets, though the 504 King streetcar stops just steps away. The shop stays open daily from midday until late evening, stretching hours on Friday and Saturday nights.
