Sushi Supreme

What is Sushi Supreme? Anchoring a brisk stretch of Mount Pleasant Road, Sushi Supreme is the quintessential neighborhood Japanese workhorse: casual, cozy, and perpetually humming. The dining space is compact and unvarnished, featuring simple table seating alongside a front counter that handles a relentless cadence of takeout orders. It trades in comfort and approachability rather than omakase theatrics, giving midtown locals a reliable refuge for raw fish and hot kitchen staples.

Sushi Supreme Menu & What to Order The expansive menu leans into generous portions and accessible, crowd-pleasing profiles. Start with the spicy scallop hand roll, which packs tender bivalves with a kick of chilli mayo, or the crisp, sauced spicy crab salad. For a complete dinner in one pass, the Supreme Bento Box satisfies with tender beef short ribs, crackling yam tempura, and avocado maki, while purists should pivot straight to the Salmon Lover's Combo or the Red Dragon Roll.

Know Before You Go Reservations are accepted and recommended during peak Friday and Saturday dinner hours, though off-peak walk-ins rarely wait long. Metered street parking lines Mount Pleasant Road, and the 74 Mount Pleasant bus provides an easy connection to the subway. The kitchen serves lunch and dinner from noon Monday through Saturday, starting later at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays.
