Sushi Style

What is Sushi Style? Located at 80 Dundas Street East, steps from the Toronto Metropolitan University campus and Yonge-Dundas Square, Sushi Style is a fast-paced Japanese joint built for quick meals and generous takeout orders. The compact dining area keeps things simple and functional, outfitted with basic laminate tables, bright overhead lighting, and a focused open service counter. It functions as a reliable downtown pit stop where local students, hospital staff, and office workers recharge over affordable Japanese comfort food.

Sushi Style Menu & What to Order The extensive kitchen menu spans classic maki, multi-piece sashimi combos, and oversized sushi burritos wrapped with fresh fish and crisp fillings. Bento boxes are the main draw for value seekers, notably the Salmon Sashimi Bento and Chicken Teriyaki Bento, both served with tempura, gyoza, salad, and miso soup. For specialty items, the Mixed Dragon Roll and Salmon Style hit the mark, while on-the-go eaters gravitate toward the Sumo Sushi Burrito and the Spicy Hand Roll Set.

Know Before You Go Seating operates on a casual walk-in basis with no reservations required, though counter pickups and delivery orders make up a major share of the daily volume. Expect brief lines during the weekday lunch rush when university classes wrap up. The restaurant sits a two-minute walk east of Dundas subway station, with public parking garages available nearby at the Eaton Centre.
