Sunny Morning

What is Sunny Morning? Perched along Yonge Street just south of St. Clair on the edge of Summerhill, Sunny Morning is an unpretentious daytime outpost dedicated to hearty diner comforts. The compact dining room is bright and unfussy, lined with cozy booths and tight tables filled with neighbourhood regulars, stroller-pushing families, and midtown workers. It eschews overstyled modern brunch trends in favour of friendly, brisk table service and sizzling flat-top griddle staples.

Sunny Morning Menu & What to Order Generous portions and traditional breakfast comfort define the wide-ranging menu. Go hungry and order The Hungry Teen, an all-in-one feast stacked with eggs cooked to order, peameal bacon, thick-cut strips, sausage links, grilled home fries, and rye toast. Sweet cravings are answered by Freddy's Caramel Pancakes—fluffy buttermilk stacks topped with banana slices, toasted pecans, and house-made dulce-de-leche-style milk caramel—while the Atlantic salmon eggs benny delivers rich hollandaise and savoury balance. Wash it down with freshly squeezed orange juice or bottomless pours of the house-blend medium roast diner coffee.
