What is Sun View Bakery? Sun View Bakery is a traditional Chinese bakery located on the second level of the Oriental Centre plaza at 4438 Sheppard Avenue East in Scarborough. Serving the neighbourhood's Chinese community for years, it bakes everyday Hong Kong bakery classics from scratch daily: sweet and savoury filled buns, delicate egg tarts, and soft sponge cakes priced for everyday snacking.

Sun View Bakery Menu & What to Order The pastry trays are stocked with freshly baked favourites: sweet Pineapple Buns (Bolo Bao) with their distinctive crumbly sugar tops, savory BBQ Roast Pork Buns (Char Siu Bao), and flaky puff-pastry Egg Tarts with smooth custard centers. Other popular purchases include Shredded Coconut Cream Buns, soft Swiss cake rolls filled with vanilla buttercream, and traditional Chinese red bean buns. Whole chiffon cakes and sponge birthday cakes can also be ordered.

Know Before You Go Open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Morning visits between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM ensure the freshest selection straight from the ovens. Cash and debit are preferred.
