Sukho Thai

What is Sukho Thai? Located along Dundas Street West in Little Portugal, this outpost of Chef Nuit and Jeff Regular’s Thai kitchen serves authentic Northern Thai staples in an unpretentious, brick-lined dining room. Warm lighting, intimate wood tables, and street-facing windows make it a relaxed neighbourhood fixture for solo dinners and casual group meals alike. It delivers the bold, unapologetic recipes that helped reshape Toronto's perception of regional Thai cooking.

Sukho Thai Menu & What to Order The rich Khao Soi is the benchmark dish, pairing egg noodles and a deeply aromatic coconut curry gravy with fresh cilantro, pickled greens, and a crown of crisp fried noodles. The signature Sukhothai Pad Thai trades artificial sweetness for pure tamarind funk and wok smokiness, while the Pad Gra Prow delivers sharp holy basil heat topped with a lacy, crisp fried egg. Cool off with a rich Thai Iced Tea or a cold Singha, taking advantage of versatile customization across proteins, gluten-free requirements, and vegan-friendly tofu plates.

Know Before You Go Tables can be booked directly on the restaurant's website, though walk-ins move relatively fast outside of peak weekend dinner rushes. Transit riders can take the 505 Dundas streetcar directly to the door near Dufferin, while drivers will find metered street parking along Dundas West. The kitchen breaks between lunch and dinner on weekdays, reopening at 4:00 p.m. for evening service.
