What is Spirit of York Distillery? Spirit of York is a craft distillery and cocktail bar in the Distillery District, producing its own vodka, gin, whisky, and aquavit on-site. The space is big and industrial—high ceilings, exposed brick, copper stills visible from the bar. It serves as both a working distillery and a destination for cocktails made exclusively with house spirits. Weekend distillery tours and cocktail-making workshops add a layer beyond the typical bar experience.

Spirit of York Distillery Menu & What to Order Cocktails are the main event, all built with house-made spirits. The Aquavitarita—made with their aquavit, orange liqueur, citrus, and dill—is unlike anything you'll find elsewhere in the city. The Bee Sting combines their DISTL Canadian Whisky with ancho chili liqueur, hot honey, and lemon for serious depth. On the food side, the charcuterie and cheese boards are solid starters, and the Tamarack beef burger is the signature main. Pork ribs and octopus round out a menu that's more substantial than most distillery bars.

Know Before You Go Open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from noon to 10 PM, and Friday through Saturday until 11 PM. Tour & Taste experiences run Saturdays at 5 PM—book online. Make Your Own Gin workshops are available for groups. The space is large enough for private events. Located at 12 Trinity Street in the Distillery District, easily walkable from the 504 King streetcar.
