Spaccio

What is Spaccio? Set in a restored industrial factory on Sterling Road, Spaccio serves as the buzzing central nervous system for the Terroni empire, combining an active production commissary, grocer, wine shop, and full-service dining room under one roof. Exposed brick, raw concrete, and an open-concept kitchen frame the high-ceilinged space, where cooks roll fresh pasta alongside patrons seated at leather banquettes, cafe high-tops, or the 50-seat front patio.

Spaccio Menu & What to Order The kitchen plays the Terroni hits with extreme precision, led by scratch pastas like the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and the decadent Tonnarelli alla Norcina, crowned with spicy sausage, pecorino, and shaved black truffles. Start with the baked oyster mushrooms in Funghi Assoluti or the location-specific Carpaccio di Manzo before splitting crisp Roman-style slab pizzas or a porchetta panino at lunch. Finish with a pastry-cream bombolone or mini tiramisu alongside an espresso or a pour from their deep regional Italian wine list.

Know Before You Go OpenTable reservations are wise for weekend brunch and prime dinner seatings, though cafe stools and bar tops regularly absorb spontaneous walk-ins. Street parking along Sterling can disappear quickly during gallery hours, making the quick walk from Dundas West station or the Bloor GO/UP Express the smoothest route. The venue runs an all-day program, turning from early morning cornetti into an afternoon aperitivo hub and late-night pasta destination.
