Operating out of the Radical Road Brewing Co. taproom at 1177 Queen Street East in Leslieville, Slammie's Sammies is the brainchild of veteran caterers Pedro Dos Santos and Marilyn Simms. After building a dedicated following across Toronto pop-ups, the team set up a permanent residency dishing out hefty, scratch-made hot sandwiches to east-end diners. Guests grab pints and settle into relaxed pub tables and bar seating right in the active microbrewery.

Slammie's Sammies Menu & What to Order Every sandwich here is a messy, two-handed affair built on garlic-toasted buns with whole cuts of meat and house-made sauces. The Portuguese Pork Bifana is an essential order, piled high with marinated grilled pork, caramelized onions, pickles, chili mayo, and yellow mustard. The crispy Chicken Parm with pesto, mozzarella, and pepperoncini is another regular favourite, while vegetarians can turn to the Miso Eggplant Scallopini. Know Before You Go Seating is casual and strictly walk-in, sharing space directly with the brewery taproom. The sandwich kitchen operates on a Thursday through Sunday schedule, staying closed Monday through Wednesday. The 501 Queen streetcar stops right outside near Jones Avenue, and street parking is available along Queen East.
