Skara Menu & What to Order The centerpiece of the menu is Skara's traditional Kontosouvli, large chunks of marinated pork slow-roasted on a rotisserie skewer until crispy on the outside and tender inside (available Wednesday through Sunday evenings). Daily visitors also praise the pork gyro dinner served with Greek lemon roasted potatoes, herb rice, and tzatziki, alongside skewered chicken souvlaki wrapped in warm grilled pita bread. Start with flaming pan-fried saganaki cheese and spicy tirokafteri dip, or try the signature lean-beef Skara Burger seasoned with Greek oregano and herbs. Save room for portokalopita, a traditional citrus-infused Greek orange phyllo cake soaked in syrup.
