What is Secrette? Perched above GEORGE Restaurant in a 19th-century converted chocolate factory at 111C Queen Street East, Secrette is an intimate 29-seat cocktail lounge in Toronto's Downtown East. The moody room pairs exposed heritage brick and Hunt Slonem wallpaper with rich aubergine velvet chairs, low ambient lighting, and an 18th-century portrait gesturing guests to keep quiet. Seating is strictly lounge-style, featuring plush armchairs, low cocktail tables, and a sleek bar counter helmed by Beverage Director John Ko.

Secrette Menu & What to Order Executive Chef Lorenzo Loseto curates an inventive lineup of upscale small plates designed specifically to accompany Ko's boundary-pushing drink program. Standouts include the Scallop Sticky Rice, Tuna Tartare with wasabi mayo, savoury Hen Coxinhas in mushroom jus, and crispy Zucchini Flower Tempura alongside vegan-friendly Cauliflower Samosas. On the drinks front, order the spirit-forward Banana Sazerac, the smoky Ginger Ember with Verde Mezcal and passion fruit, or alcohol-free creations like the Golden Hour.

Know Before You Go With fewer than thirty seats, reservations via OpenTable are strongly recommended on Friday and Saturday evenings, though GEORGE dining room guests can often request access through the host team for a post-dinner drink.
