Seara Bakery

What is Seara Bakery? Anchoring Keele Street in Brookhaven-Amesbury, Seara Bakery operates as a hardworking, dawn-to-midnight Portuguese community staple. The space is functional, bright, and bustling, anchored by sprawling glass display counters loaded with fresh breads and pastries alongside a cluster of casual tables for counter-service dine-in.

Seara Bakery Menu & What to Order The counter traffic revolves around blistered, flaky 'natas' (Portuguese custard tarts) with caramelized tops and warm, pressed 'tosta mista' sandwiches on crusty house bread. Heartier cravings are answered by the indulgent 'francesinha' smothered in rich beer-infused gravy, while sweet tooths should look to the shredded coconut on the 'rosca de coco' or plush loaves of 'massa doce'. Pair any pastry with a sharp espresso or galão for the definitive neighborhood breakfast ritual.

Know Before You Go Service is strictly walk-in, and while counter queues stretch long on weekend mornings and post-church hours, the seasoned staff moves orders along with brisk efficiency. With doors opening at 5:00 a.m. and staying open until midnight most nights, it is an essential North York lifeline for late-night carbs and early morning fuel. Surface parking is readily available out front, making car-based grab-and-go runs seamless.
