Score on King

What is Score on King? Perched at the corner of King Street East and Church Street, Score on King brings Vancouver’s high-energy sports bar pedigree right to the edge of the St. Lawrence neighbourhood. Occupying the airy, industrial brick-and-beam space that once housed Origin, the room is equipped with 15 flat screens, tall bar counters, communal tables, and a sidewalk patio facing the historic St. James Cathedral. It operates as an unpretentious watering hole where game-day crowds, neighbourhood regulars, and downtown office workers mingle over pints and pub comfort food.

Score on King Menu & What to Order Score is widely known across the country for its gravity-defying food Caesars, ranging from the Royale with Chaesar—garnished with an entire cheeseburger and onion rings—to the legendary Checkmate Caesar crowned with a whole roasted Cornish hen, hot wings, sliders, and a brownie. Beyond the viral cocktails, the kitchen turns out dependable sports-bar standards including the house Score Burger, crispy cauliflower wings, sushi sliders topped with smoked salmon, and massive shareable nacho platters. Plant-forward diners can look toward bowls like the quinoa Buddha Bowl or vegetarian wing options, all paired best with rotating Ontario draft craft beers or classic bar rail specials.

Know Before You Go Expect a full house and a rowdy, energetic atmosphere during major Leafs, Raptors, or Blue Jays broadcasts, when tables fill up fast and walk-ins should budget time for a wait. Table reservations can be booked in advance directly through their website, though the bar and high-top counters accommodate casual drop-ins nicely. Located steps from the 504 King streetcar and Church Street, the spot operates daily from 11:00 a.m. until late into the night.
