Savoury Samosa

What is Savoury Samosa? Tucked into an unassuming commercial plaza on Mallard Road in North York, Savoury Samosa is a focused counter-service operation dedicated to unapologetic Karachi-style street food. The space is lean and functional, arranged primarily around rapid takeout and delivery with a handful of casual, no-frills tables for on-the-spot snacking. The kitchen moves fast, dispensing blistered pastries and punchy street snacks to an eager crowd of locals and taxi drivers.

Savoury Samosa Menu & What to Order The pastry counter is the main draw, turning out crisp triangular pockets stuffed with aromatic spiced potato, chicken, or deeply savoury ground beef. For a complete meal, order the Samosa Chaat, which crushes the crisp pastry under a blanket of spiced chickpeas, cooling yogurt, fresh coriander, and tangy tamarind chutney. Karachi street food purists should zero in on the Bun Kabab, featuring a spiced patty and onions pressed into a soft bun, washed down with a rich Mango Lassi or a scalding, fragrant cup of Karak Chaye.

Know Before You Go There are no reservations here; simply walk up to the counter, place your order, and grab a seat or take it to go. Plentiful strip-plaza surface parking makes pickups seamless, though expect a short wait during the prime evening rush. Operating daily until 1:00 a.m., it remains one of North York's most reliable late-night savoury pitstops.
