What is Round the Horn? Located at 331 Roncesvalles Avenue, Round the Horn is an easygoing neighbourhood watering hole and craft beer hangout founded by Kristin McNeil. The dimly lit, lived-in space trades obnoxious sports-bar tropes for pastel-painted vintage trophies, retro pinball machines, and board games. Seating flows from barstools and narrow tables upfront out to a spacious, heated backyard patio out back.

Round the Horn Menu & What to Order The kitchen sidesteps typical pub fare in favour of a focused menu of loaded gourmet hot dogs on sturdy buns. Order the Seoul Dog, which layers snappy sausage with spicy kimchi, gochujang mayo, and gochugaru, or the Bavarian-inspired Das Wurschten topped with sauerkraut, brassica mustard, and speck on a pretzel bun. Pair the dogs with a basket of jerk chicken nachos or warm pretzels, washed down with a rotating lineup of Ontario craft beer tall cans and fresh local taps.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in only, and the back patio fills fast on warm evenings and when major games are on screen. Street parking along Roncesvalles Avenue is tricky, so taking the 504 King streetcar or walking down from Dundas West station is your best bet. Doors open daily at noon and run until late, making it equally handy for a quiet afternoon pint or a late-night snack.
