Rizzo’s House of Parm

May 1, 2026
Rizzo’s House of Parm is a limited-time pop-up concept in Toronto brought to the city by celebrity chef and restaurateur Matty Matheson. Originally established as a permanent fixture in Crystal Beach, Ontario, this iteration brings the restaurant’s signature Italian-American comfort food to a Toronto audience. The concept is deeply personal, named after Matheson’s eldest daughter and inspired by the heritage of his wife, Patricia. The menu focuses on traditional, family-style Italian fare, emphasizing hearty, cheese-forward dishes that evoke a nostalgic, red-sauce dining experience.
For this Toronto pop-up, running throughout May, the restaurant operates exclusively as a pickup and delivery service via Uber Eats. The experience is designed for convenience, featuring a set meal for two that includes a choice of chicken or eggplant parmigiana, paired with either penne alla vodka or spaghetti pomodoro. Each order is rounded out with signature meatballs, a Caesar salad, and tiramisu. Because the kitchen maintains a strictly traditional approach to these high-volume orders, they cannot accommodate specific dietary requests, so guests should expect dairy, gluten, and allium in the meal. Pre-orders for pickup are available through the restaurant's official social media channels, and given the popularity of Matheson’s ventures, early planning is recommended.
