What is Qingshu Hot Pot? Qingshu Hot Pot is a modern build-your-own malatang noodle and hot pot shop situated on Dundas Street West in Downtown Toronto's Chinatown, steps from Kensington Market. Adapting traditional communal hot pot into an individualized, fast-casual dining format, Qingshu enables solo diners, students, and groups to craft personalized hot pot bowls cooked to order in rich, slow-simmered broths.
Qingshu Hot Pot Menu & What to Order Grab tongs and select from refrigerated cases stocked with over forty fresh ingredients, including tender beef slices, fish balls, fried tofu skins, baby bok choy, enoki mushrooms, and fresh udon or ramen noodles. The kitchen simmers your ingredients in your chosen broth: the traditional Szechuan spicy soup infused with star anise, cinnamon, and Sichuan chilies, or the soothing non-spicy pork bone stock. Alternatively, request the spicy dry pot style tossed with roasted peanuts, sesame seeds, and cilantro.
Know Before You Go Qingshu Hot Pot operates seven days a week from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Meals are weighed at the cashier station and charged by weight. The dining space is brightly lit and modern, featuring comfortable booth seating and a complimentary self-serve condiment counter. Dundas streetcars stop steps away, and Chinatown street parking is available along Dundas and Spadina.
