Popular Pizza

What is Popular Pizza? Located in a utilitarian plaza along Sheppard Avenue East in Malvern West, Popular Pizza is a no-frills takeout outpost specializing in the cross-section of Ontario slice-counter staples and robust South Asian flavours. The interior is strictly functional, configured around a straightforward order counter with minimal seating tailored for quick box collection rather than long sit-down meals. It fills an essential role in northeast Scarborough, serving hot, heavily spiced pies to late-night crowds.

Popular Pizza Menu & What to Order The kitchen sets itself apart with its dedicated roster of Indian-style pies, swapping mundane tomato bases for aromatic gravies and marinated toppings. The Tandoori Paneer and Butter Chicken pizzas are the essential orders, layering molten mozzarella with seasoned cottage cheese, charred poultry, onions, and green peppers. For those who appreciate sharp, pickled heat, the Achari Paneer pizza cuts through the cheese with distinct tangy spices, while an order of battered potato wedges and classic wings rounds out the experience.

Know Before You Go This is strictly a pickup and delivery operation, meaning reservations do not exist and peak dinner hours can involve brief counter queues. Hours run exceptionally late—pushing past 2:00 a.m. during the week and nearly 4:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday—making it a dependable midnight beacon. Surface parking is plentiful in the strip plaza, and the Sheppard East bus drops off steps from the door.
