Pizza Maru

What is Pizza Maru? Located on Gerrard Street East just steps from the TMU campus, Pizza Maru brings South Korea's massive fusion pizza phenomenon straight to Downtown Toronto. Operating primarily as a brisk takeout and delivery counter with a no-frills, fast-food layout, the space is built for volume and speed rather than sit-down dining. The kitchen distinguishes itself with its signature green tea well-being dough, serving as the foundation for unapologetically maximalist Korean-Western pies.

Pizza Maru Menu & What to Order Sweet and savoury contrasts dominate the menu, best experienced through the Signature Shrimbul Pizza, which combines tender bulgogi beef and spiced shrimp over a chewy crust. The Holy Honey Sweet Potato Pizza and the towering 'Kaboom' Cheese Bomb Pizza cater directly to Seoul-style comfort cravings, layering decadent textures that traditionalists never saw coming. Round out an order with Korean BBQ Oven Wings or the nostalgic, diner-style Meat Cheese Oven Spaghetti.

Know Before You Go This is exclusively a counter pickup and delivery outpost, so reservations do not exist and seating is practically nil. Expect brief turnaround waits during the mid-afternoon student rush and heavy delivery dispatch times on weekend evenings. Located between College and Dundas subway stations, the counter operates daily from noon until 9:40 p.m.
