Philthy Philly's

What is Philthy Philly's? Perched along Queen Street West just east of Trinity Bellwoods, Philthy Philly's is a counter-service joint engineered for quick comfort cravings and late-night sustenance. The compact space is straightforward and functional, outfitted with bright fluorescent lighting, branded vinyl graphics, and basic diner-style seating for scarfing down sandwiches on the fly. It operates with an unapologetic focus on griddled Philadelphia staples and messy, loaded sides.

Philthy Philly's Menu & What to Order The main draw is the signature Philly cheesesteak, built with thinly sliced griddled ribeye or chicken layered onto soft Amoroso's Bakery rolls imported straight from Philadelphia and drenched in Cheez Whiz, provolone, or mozzarella. For local variations, order The Big "EH" with Canadian peameal bacon, or opt for towering creations from the poutine counter like the Meat Eater and Buffalo Chicken. Halal meat options are clearly available upon request, and the kitchen offers gluten-free veggie gravy for patrons customizing their fry boxes.

Know Before You Go Seating is walk-in only with rapid turnover, making it primarily a grab-and-go counter and delivery hub. The room gets packed on weekend nights when the Queen West bar crowds spill in for late-night fuel, staying open until 5:00 a.m. every day of the week. Transit is your best bet via the 501 Queen streetcar, as street parking along this stretch is practically nonexistent during peak hours.
