Occupying a cheerful, canary-yellow corner at 667 College Street on the edge of Little Italy and Trinity Bellwoods, Pennies brings its cult-favourite slider bar formula to a bright, retro-diner setting. Founded by James Bateman, the space features retro booth seating, seafoam-tiled accents, an upstairs games clubhouse, and a sprawling, 130-seat outdoor patio built for warm-weather day drinking.

Pennies Menu & What to Order Everything revolves around pocket-friendly two-bite handhelds served on squishy Martin’s potato rolls alongside heaping baskets of crispy tater tots and complimentary buttery popcorn. Crowd-pleasers include the crispy Southern Honey Fried Chicken, the thinly griddled Oklahoma Burger packed with charred onions, and the saucy Harlem Chopped Cheese Steak.
