A joint venture between the former owner of Otherside Pizza (which previously occupied the space) and partners behind a series of West End Korean restaurants, Olde Seoul Tavern opened in December 2025 and has quickly become the Beaches' most interesting new addition.

The concept sits at the intersection of tavern, diner, and Korean sool jib — American and Italian comfort food staples dressed up with Korean ingredients and flavours. The signature rigatoni with gochujang vodka sauce is the kind of dish that sounds like a trend-chasing gimmick but actually works. The Katsu Parm — described by multiple reviewers as "bigger than my head" — has become a local obsession at . The Caesar salad gets a wafu dressing twist, and the Bang Bang Punch cocktail at anchors a fun drinks program.

The room matches the food's personality: checkerboard floors, red lighting, exposed brick walls, and a vibe that's equal parts neighbourhood pub and late-night hangout. Not to be confused with OddSeoul on Ossington — this is a completely different operation with its own identity.
