Ohana Coffee

Ohana Coffee brings a dedicated slice of Colombian culture to Bloor West Village, focusing entirely on the inseparable pairing of high-quality Colombian coffee and traditional pandebonos. This isn't your typical laptop-heavy workspace; it is a warm, family-oriented spot that takes its cheese bread seriously, even featuring an anthropomorphic pandebono mascot named Bonitto. The atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming, serving as a refreshing neighbourhood hub where the focus remains on the craft of the beans and the authenticity of their signature baked goods. It is a straightforward, cozy destination that prioritizes quality ingredients over complex menu gimmicks.
For a first-timer, the order is simple: get a hot coffee—their specialty Pink Bourbon is a standout—and at least two fresh pandebonos. These naturally gluten-free, yuca-flour cheese breads are best enjoyed piping hot, and they are the undisputed stars of the menu. If you are feeling hungrier, their Waffle Bono (a pandebono-based waffle) or a classic empanada are excellent choices. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, making it an easy stop for a morning pick-me-up or a light afternoon snack. They also sell frozen pandebonos to take home, which is a pro move if you want to recreate the experience in your own kitchen. It is a great spot to drop by on a weekend morning before heading into High Park.
