Nutmento Caribbean Grill

What is Nutmento Caribbean Grill? Located along Gerrard Street East in Leslieville, Nutmento Caribbean Grill is an unpretentious, family-run counter specializing in homestyle Jamaican cooking. The clean, utilitarian shop operates primarily as a takeout and delivery hub, offering a straightforward counter setup rather than an expansive sit-down dining room. It foregoes dining-room frills to focus squarely on deeply seasoned, generous Caribbean staples.

Nutmento Caribbean Grill Menu & What to Order The kitchen turns out traditional island fare alongside handheld riffs, headlined by the Jerk Chicken CoCowich, which folds fiery, well-charred jerk chicken into pillowy coco bread. For comfort-food classics, order the slow-braised Oxtail Bowl served with rich, savory pan gravy, or opt for the fragrant Curry Goat enveloped in a flaky Dhal Puri Roti. Those craving a quick, well-portioned lunch on the move should look to the Jerk Chicken NutWrap or the smoky BBQ Chicken Bowl.

Know Before You Go Nutmento is tailored for grab-and-go orders, so plan on taking your meal home or picking it up via delivery services. The shop is easily accessible via the 506 Carlton streetcar along Gerrard, though metered street parking can be competitive during prime dinner hours. Because physical operating times are not always fixed, check active ordering hours on Uber Eats or SkipTheDishes before making the trip.
