New Jazeera Cafe Menu & What to Order The menu is built around fragrant Somali hospitality. The primary order is the Hilib Ari—tender, slow-braised bone-in goat meat falling off the bone, served over a hill of golden, long-grain spiced basmati rice (Bariis Iskukaris) garnished with fried onions, raisins, and a whole fresh banana. Start with a couple of crispy, deep-fried triangular beef sambusas filled with minced meat, onions, and jalapeños, and round out the meal with a warm glass of Shaah Cadays, spiced Somali tea brewed with cloves, cinnamon, and sweetened milk.
